I enjoy the game but it take a long time to progress

I have been playing this game for a year and a half. In the beginning things were moving along, but now it takes me months to finish a mission. Ive been trying to save up just to buy a piece of land that cost five million, its ridiculous. Probably will stop playing just as I had stop playing The Tribez. Love the games just takes way to long to progress.
